Angular speed of Earth's rotation

Earth rotates from West to East on its axis and it takes 24 hours in completing one rotation around its axis which means it rotates by 360° in this time interval of 24 hours.

One rotation (360°) finishes in 24 hours or 24 × 60 minutes

360° = 24 × 60 minutes

1° = (24 × 60 minutes) / 360° = 4 minutes

This way it would take 4 minutes in rotating through 1°.
