Deciphering Panchang Ganitam proved to be a challenging task for Dr. Kalra due to its complex nature. Written in pure Hindi (Devanagari script) with numerous embedded Sanskrit words, the text posed a cryptic puzzle. However Dr.A.S.Kalra persisted, determined to unravel its meaning, and eventually succeeded. During his exploration, he even discovered an error in the first edition of the book published in 2002.

The mistake involved an equation concerning Jupiter's 'Manda Phal,' which was missing from pages 86 and 87. To rectify this, Dr. Kalra promptly contacted Shantikunj Ashram in Haridwar via telephone. Coincidentally, it happened that Pandit Kalyan Datt Sharma was temporarily residing there at the time. Without delay Dr. Kalra, journeyed to Shantikunj Ashram, accompanied by Mr. Ram Sahay Shukla, a member of the ashram, on July 3rd, 2003. He personally met Pandit Kalyan Datt Sharma and brought the mistake to his attention.

Pandit ji referred to the Hindi translation of "Vaijyanti Naam Panchang Ganit" and promptly provided Dr. Kalra with the missing equation. He also assured Dr. Kalra that the corrected equation would be included in the next edition of the book. Sadly, Pandit ji passed away on October 5th, 2009, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, at the age of 90, leaving behind a remarkable legacy.

On May 15, 2009, the Dehradun Live supplement of the esteemed Indian English daily, HINDUSTAN TIMES , reached out to Dr. A.S. Kalra seeking his predictions for the Lok Sabha polls taking place in the Republic of India at that time. However, Dr. Kalra declined to provide any commentary, stating that Vedic Astrology does not possess the capability to accurately predict election outcomes.

There are instances where solutions may seem elusive. Some individuals may face challenges such as mental disabilities or critical illnesses, while others may not have a destined love life or a happy marriage. Financial struggles can also persist due to unfortunate circumstances. In such cases, the only solution lies in accepting the will of God. Dr. A.S. Kalra does not believe that performing rituals, reciting mantras, or wearing talismans can alter destiny or bring happiness in life.
There is no such remedy prescribed in Vedic Astrology, and many self-proclaimed astrologers deceive vulnerable individuals by offering expensive remedies to extract money from them. Lord Krishna advised Arjuna to focus on performing his duties without attaching excessive importance to the outcomes.
